Wallick’s Senior Living Campus Voted Best in Toledo

We are thrilled to announce that Wallick’s senior living campus in Sylvania, OH has achieved an outstanding trifecta sweep in Mature Living News’ annual Reader’s Choice Awards!

Readers of MLiving are the judges for these awards, voting for the best of the Toledo, OH, area across various local categories.

  • Oakleaf Village of Sylvania won “Best Assisted Living Community” for its third consecutive year.
  • The Grove at Oakleaf Village of Sylvania won “Best Memory Care” for its eighth consecutive year.
  • The Crescent, our newest senior living community, won “Best Senior Living Community.”

It is because of our residents, families and amazing associates that our communities are incredible places to live and work.

Wallick Celebrates The Crescent Grand Opening

On Thursday, many joined us in celebrating the grand opening of The Crescent at Oakleaf Village in Toledo-Sylvania, Ohio. The afternoon began with CEO, Amy Albery, giving the warm welcome.

Remarks were then said by several notable guests:

  • John Crandall, Sylvania Township Trustee
  • Mayor Craig Stough, City of Sylvania  
  • State Senator Theresa Gavarone, Senate District 2  
  • Stephanie Hess, SVP, Senior Living Operations, Wallick Communities 
  • Monsignor Michael Billian, gave the invocation 

Afterward, there was a ribbon-cutting, followed by tours, food, and welcoming the public on-site to commemorate the start and success of this community.
