Join Wallick at Columbus Pride Festival

Wallick Communities is proud to participate in the Stonewall Columbus Pride Festival & March on June 18, 2022. Come see our DEI+B Committee as they represent the company during the march and pass out water and other goods at Wallick’s sponsored tent.

Where: Goodale Park

When: June 18 from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

What: With over 200 nonprofit and corporate vendors, 2 performance stages, a community wellness area, a DJ/dancing pad, and a plethora of community resources–there will be something at the festival for you.

Where: Broad St. & High St. (the procession will travel north on High St. toward Goodale Park)

When: Saturday, June 18, 2022 | March Step Off at 10:30 a.m.

Vote for The Ashford of Grove City for Best of the ‘Bus today!

The Ashford of Grove City (AGC) was nominated to win the “best senior living community” category of the Best of the ‘Bus 2021 contest.

Vote for AGC here, today! (See Q17). Opened in January, AGC is Wallick’s newest senior living community located in Grove City, OH that features independent living, assisted living, and memory care.

Best of the ‘Bus is put on by CityScene magazine and awards Ohio’s Best Ice Cream, Best Carry-out, Best TV Binge, and more – a total of 52 categories. CityScene, Columbus’ only locally and independently owned arts and entertainment magazine in Central Ohio, continues to share Columbus’ people, stories, and events after more than 20 years.

Construction on The Grove Columbus Wraps Up

The Grove Columbus is Wallick’s second memory care community that will provide housing and care to seniors with Alzheimer’s and dementia-related illnesses. This $7.1 million community will be composed of four neighborhoods that can support up to a total of 56 residents. Designed to accommodate seniors as they progress through the stages of dementia, each acuity-based neighborhood features a:

  • Living room
  • Open kitchen
  • Sun room
  • Private dining area
  • Secured courtyard

Within the next month, furniture will be installed at the community. The Grove Columbus has received its Certificate of Occupancy and looks forward to welcoming its first residents this fall.

The Grove Columbus Hosts First Event Since Groundbreaking

Dozens of business partners and community members eagerly arrived at The Grove at Oakleaf Village of Columbus last week to catch a quick tour of the progress that’s been made over the past year.

The Grove Columbus will be Wallick’s second memory care community that will provide housing and care to seniors with Alzheimer’s and dementia-related illnesses. This $7.1 million community will be composed of four neighborhoods that can support up to a total of 56 residents. Designed to accommodate seniors as they progress through the stages of dementia, each ability based neighborhood features:

  • Living room
  • Open kitchen
  • Sun room
  • Private dining area
  • Secured courtyard

Additionally, The Grove Columbus will create approximately 40 full-time job opportunities for those in or surrounding Columbus, OH. Wallick Communities looks forward to having The Grove Columbus up and running early this fall.
