Jeannie Clayton Promoted to Senior Vice President of Asset Management

New Albany, OH – Wallick is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeannie Clayton to Senior Vice President of Asset Management.
In this role, Jeannie will focus on further defining Asset Management’s role as the owner’s representative and financial guardian, ensuring communities are equipped to perform optimally in order to preserve affordable housing for the long term.
Since joining Wallick in 2015, Jeannie has played a pivotal role in growing Wallick’s Asset Management team and refining closing and real estate management processes. She started her career at Wallick as a Paralegal in the Asset Management Department and worked in both Asset Management and Development, holding roles including Real Estate Specialist, Sr. Closing Manager and Director of Acquisitions.
Most recently, Jeannie served as Vice President of Closing and Real Estate Management, where she cultivated and led the team responsible for overseeing all of Wallick’s tax credit, acquisition, disposition and refinance closings. In addition to leading Asset Management, Jeannie will continue to oversee the Closing and Real Estate Management team.
Prior to joining Wallick, Jeannie spent 14 years working for Shafer Law Offices/Ohio Title Johnstown Agency as both a Paralegal and Real Estate Title Agent, where she was key in executing and closing real estate transactions ranging from residential closings to complex Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) closings.
Leading with trust, commitment and character, Jeannie brings deep experience collaborating across Wallick and with external partners. She looks forward to continuing to advance Wallick’s mission in this new role.
“Jeannie’s more than 10 years with Wallick have been marked by continuous growth, strong leadership, and a commitment to building meaningful partnerships across the organization.
I’ve had the privilege of watching her expand her expertise and become a trusted partner to teams across many areas of the business.
