Wallick Continues to Rehabilitate Affordable Communities Across Kentucky
Shortly after receiving $1.2 million in 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) awards from the Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) in 2016, Wallick Communities started the redevelopment of three of its affordable communities in northern Kentucky: Locust Ridge Apartments, Highpoint Apartments and Bedford Village. As rehabilitation of these three communities nears completion, Wallick prepares for the redevelopment of four more Kentucky affordable housing communities.

Just 60 days ago, KHC awarded Wallick $1.5 million in 9% LIHTC awards to acquire and rehabilitate Hillview Terrace Apartments and Logan's Trace Apartments, both located in southern Kentucky. Those are in addition to Brooksville Court Apartments and Brooksville Green Apartments, which were awarded 9% LIHTC credits in 2017, and will see construction start shortly.

Whether it's next month or ten years from now, Wallick will always be focused on providing safe, affordable housing for families and seniors across the Midwest.
