We are currently seeking a Compliance Director for our Affordable Housing Operations team. You will report to the Senior Vice President of Affordable Housing Operations and be responsible for monitoring property compliance with Section 42 of the IRC, HUD guidelines, FHA restrictive covenants and other program restrictions. Additionally, you will oversee management and development of the Compliance Staff including Compliance Specialists, Compliance Coordinators and Relocation Specialist.

We desire an individual with these skills and experiences:
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of affordable housing compliance experience dealing with Section 42, Section 8, and Tax Exempt Bond financing. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Should possess advanced knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing Fair Housing. Should possess proficiency in operating a computer and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- You must be able to make complex decisions requiring a significant amount of judgment. Additionally, you need the ability to communicate to the team both verbally and in writing. You should be able to read, analyze and interpret reports and legal documents; and to respond to issues arising from compliance issues at the property level.
- Prefer nationally recognized Tax Credit and/or HUD certification. HCCP a plus.
