The number of new opportunities for Wallick Communities is not slowing down anytime soon. We are fully committed to serving two markets – affordable housing and senior living. As the number of residents in those markets continue to expand, Wallick is standing in the gap to fulfill their needs.

Not only are we dedicated to our work, but we carry it out with excellence – our residents deserve nothing less. We strive every day to make our communities great places to live; and to accomplish that, we also aim to be a great place to work.

Our most important resource, by far, is our associates. To support our growth, we have added talent at all levels, including leadership roles. Within the past 15 months:

  • John Leonard came aboard to lead Construction. Previously, he worked with the NRP Group and oversaw their construction activities in the Eastern U.S.
  • Joe Hall joined our affordable housing development team. Prior to Wallick, Joe oversaw acquisitions at National Church Residences.
  • Stephanie Hess and Ryan Herchenroether, each with substantial senior living experience, joined the Wallick Team. Stephanie’s focus is on senior living operations, while Ryan’s work centers on senior living development.
  • Amy Albery recently began a new role to lead Affordable Housing Operations. Amy has been with Wallick for seven years. She started in our Development area and then led Asset Management before moving to her current position.
  • Sharon Shaffer, Troy Rambo and Matt Shoemacher have each taken on key expanded roles of leadership.
  • And most recently, Sarah Malone has joined to lead Asset Management. For the past ten years, Sarah has been in a director role with the Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing.
Each of these individuals is gifted and accomplished and together they have positioned Wallick well to support our growth. At Wallick, we seek leaders who have an intensely strong business acumen and care deeply for those we serve. We are thrilled to have everyone who is on our management team, helping shape our future and the future of our industry.
